Novak was greeted by fans like "a deity," look at the reaction when he passed by them

The first tennis day in Dubai is over. The best Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic, was welcomed by the local audience in an extraordinary way, and with all that, he managed to defeat Lorenzo Musetti in two sets (6-3, 6-3) in an hour and 15 minutes of play.

After the victory, Novak stressed that he was very happy that the audience welcomed him in a nice way, said he was satisfied with his game, and is now slowly turning to the match against Karen Khachanov or Alex de Minaur in the second round.

How happy the audience was to see Nole was evident after the match as well, while he was walking towards the place where the press conference was held. Some literally threw themselves to get his autograph.

Djokovic obliged the most, and it could be noticed that some individuals saw him as a kind of "supreme deity." He is, at least when it comes to tennis. In the video at the top of the page, you can see what that looked like.
