Commenting on the statements made by Milo Djukanovic and Albin Kurti, former Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Nebojsa Covic said that spinning proved to be the best method for them when they cannot solve some internal problem.

After 12 bombers arrive from Great Britain, 12 fighters from France, along with 14 Russian MiGs, Serbia will have the largest air force fleet in the region with 38 top warplanes.

Former Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and head of the Coordination Center for Kosovo and Metohija Nebojsa Covic told RTS that this will mean a lot to in deterring any possible ideas about attempts at provocation and aggression against our country.

Bearing in mind that after the NATO aggression in 1999, the Serbian Army was quite impoverished, this is certainly positive news, and the armed forces should continue to develop, Covic said.

"When they don't know how to solve their problems, then the best method has proven to be to spin and shift the focus from internal problems and issues that they cannot solve. Montenegro is highly indebted, it has severe economic problems, and, as far as politics is concerned, we don't know what their government is, while Djukanovic is fighting desperately to hang on to his position (as the president). As for Kurti - that (Kosovo) is a fake state, a fake government, a fake prime minister," said Covic.

He stressed that he is more worried about the fact their statements are not coming only from their own heads.

"There are a lot of instructors and whisperers who are constantly coaching them to further destabilize the region with such performances, that Serbia is the usual culprit, that we are the little Russians. It would be incredible if they stopped saying that. I don't know how we would live in such an environment," Covic said.
