Man arrested over scandal during RTS morning show: He cursed Serbia as a "fascist" state

By order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade V.J., 46, has been detained for up to 48 hours today on suspicion that he damaged the reputation of Serbia.

As an RTS journalist was reporting live during the broadcaster's morning program today, he ran into frame and spilled liquid from a can of energy drink, and then turned to leave.

Immediately afterwards, he returned , stood next to the reporter and, insultilgly showing middle fingers on both hands, used obscenities to talk about Serbia, calling it a "fascist" state.

V.J. is a citizen of Serbia who lives in Germany. He will be brought in for questioning within 48 hours.
