Representatives of Fiat workers and trade unions came to Belgrade again today for a meeting at the Presidency of Serbia.

Before the meeting, the president of the Fiat Plastika trade union, Zoran Miljkovic, told reporters that the vast majority of Fiat workers are satisfied with the agreement reached on Saturday with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.

This is a forced solution, but I think we got the maximum out of it at the moment, said Miljkovic.

The vice-president of the Nezavisnost trade union in Fiat, Igor Andjic, also said that workers are satisfied, but that unfortunately, as he said, 1,500 will be leaving the factory.

The meeting at the Presidency started around noon, reports Tanjug.

It was announced after the meeting with President Vucic on Saturday that workers who want to leave the factory will receive 790 euros per year of service and that severance payments will start on Wednesday, as well as that those who do not want to work in Fiat's factories abroad will be able to get a job in plants in Kragujevac and Velika Plana.
