Vucic: We secured Serbian statehood in Kosovo and Metohija, I think this is very good for us

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said last evening that by reaching an agreement regarding documents with Pristina, Belgrade secured Serbian statehood in Kosovo and Metohija.

"I think that what has been achieved is very good for us, because, unless they pretend to be naive, we have been receiving their documents until now and they have been traveling with their documents through central Serbia since 2011, we were just issuing them a paper, wasting time," announced Vucic on his Instagram account "avucic."

"This way you have a big poster on which it is written that this is no recognition, and you travel, but we secured Serbian statehood in Kosovo and Metohija, that documents of the Republic of Serbia are valid in Kosovo and Metohija, especially of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija," added Vucic.
