After interrogating them, the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime proposed to the judge for preliminary proceedings of the Special Department of the Higher Court in Belgrade to keep detained all members of an organized criminal group accused of committing criminal acts of association for the purpose of committing criminal acts and intermediation in prostitution. The court yesterday accepted this proposal.

A warrant has been issued for another woman suspected to be a part of the group.

"The Prosecution proposed to keep the accused Neda B., Samir B., Nina R., Milica M., Milica O. and Vesna V. detained as flight risks, because they might influence witnesses and because of risk that they might repeat, or commit another criminal act," announced the prosecution.

In the further course of the proceedings, the prosecutor will question the witnesses, order forensic examinations of confiscated phones and other devices, as well as collect evidence in order to establish all relevant facts in the proceedings.

Telegraf.rs reported that Neda B. and her ex-husband Samir B. are suspected to be the leaders of the group.

"They have been involved in prostitution for more than eight months. 10 women worked for them. For an evening with a client, they took up to 200 euros. They advertised on a website. They shared the earned money based on the duties they had. Nada and Samir often traveled to exotic destinations, and they did not hide their luxurious lifestyle, but made it public. They didn't say much in front of the prosecutor," said our source.

The five-member criminal group was arrested a few days ago in Belgrade. In a major operation, one man and four women got handcuffed. One suspect is still at large.
