President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic was on an official two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates during the weekend, at the invitation of the head of that country, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Vucic was welcomed at the airport in Abu Dhabi, followed by a formal dinner hosted in his honor by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.
Sheikh Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed greeted Vucic with the words, "Welcome to your second homeland!"
The focus of the conversation was energy, military and economic cooperation, and nine agreements were signed, the umbrella one being the agreement on strategic partnership between the two countries.
