The Pristina authorities did not allow Minister of Science and Technological Development Nenad Popovic and President of the Commission for Missing Persons Veljko Odalovic to enter the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, Tanjug was told today by the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Popovic and Odalovic were planning to attend the enthronement tomorrow of Patriarch Porfirije in the Patriarchate of Pec, but were denied entry to Kosovo without explanation, in the night between Tuesday to Wednesday.

It was previously announced that the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, was also banned by the authorities of the provisional Pristina institutions from visiting the southern province and attending the enthronement of the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfirije, in the Patriarchate of Pec.

In his statement for Tanjug and TV Most, Petkovic said that the reason for the ban has not been stated, so that Pristina could avoid putting in writing that he was banned from attending liturgy.
