Woman from "Peugeot of death" still in a coma: Serious traffic accident in Belgrade claimed two lives

Zoran M. (67) and Biljerim C. (39) were killed, while Gordana M.M. (44) survived when the Peugeot they were in crashed into a pole early Saturday morning in Vojislava Ilica Street in Belgrade.

A relative of Zoran M. (67) told Kurir that on the fateful morning he and his daughter Gordana M.M. (44) and his friend Biljerim C. (39) were on the way to do some shopping.

The tragedy happened when the Peugeot in which Zoran, Gordana and Biljerim were traveling drove off the road and hit a pole. The force of the impact split the car in half, and Zoran M. and Biljerim C. died at the scene of the accident, while Gordana was transported to the Emergency Center with serious injuries and unconsciousness.

"We still do not know who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident. We know that Zoran and his daughter Gordana went shopping with a friend to buy supplies for the house. We don't know what happened, we are waiting for the police to tell us what exactly happened," said the distressed relative.

She added that everyone is taking Zoran's death hard, and that now all they can do is pray for Gordana.

"She has two children, we hope that everything will be fine with her, that she will manage to overcome her injuries. She is in an induced coma, but the doctors told us that she is out of danger," said the relative, who was visiting the injured woman.

According to unofficial information, a family of three was in the Peugeot, and the woman who fell out of the vehicle due to the force of the impact and was thrown several meters away was urgently transferred to the Emergency Center, while doctors were fighting to save her life.

It is believed that she was behind the wheel of the Peugeot, which was split in two by the force of the impact.

Eyewitnesses told Telegraf.rs that the car suddenly lost control, and without any signs of braking, first climbed onto the grassy surface with its rear end, and then hit a pole, which split the vehicle in half, rotated and threw it back onto the road.
