Members of the Serb List verify their mandates, then leave the assembly in Pristina

Today nine representatives of the Serb List technically verified their mandates in the assembly in Pristina, in that way keeping them in safe hands, and immediately afterwards left the session.

As the Serb List announced, today's strategic decision prevented in the most direct way the realization of the plan of Albin Kurti and the Serbs who work with him to change the constitution and laws that guarantee the rights of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija.

The intention of Kurti and Rada Trajkovic, as well as others like her, was to vote for the changes to the constitution that would lead to the abolition of Serb municipalities, the seizure of property from the Serbian Orthodox Church, the canceling of (the use of) the Serbian language, the right to representation in institutions, etc.

"We stress that this strategic and political decision will in no way stop the process of (Serbs) leaving Kosovo institutions in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, which shuts down all Kosovo institutions in that territory, in response to the violation of the Brussels agreement, the mistreatment of the Serb people and the trampling of all human rights.

Finally, we want to emphasize that our goal is to protect our people, peace and security, but also not to allow Kurti and Rada Trajkovic to be the ones making decisions concerninig our lives."
