"Serbs from the north and south and from all Serbs areas in Kosovo will come to big protest"

Serbs are not asking for much, they are only asking for what belongs to all civilized people in Europe

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic told the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija today, before the large popular and democratic protest at the barricades in Rudare, near Zvecan, that he will always support them and that he will not hide from the great and powerful in the world, but that he will always be sufficiently responsible to invite them to be calm and keep the peace.

In a video address, published on Instagram, Vucic said that Serbs from the north and south and from all areas where they live in Kosovo and Metohija will come to the big protest.

"The Serbs are not asking for much, they are only asking for what belongs to all civilized people in Europe. While everyone else has these rights, only the Serbs are denied them. To be free, to have the right to move, to go to schools and hospitals, to protect their lives and the perspective of their children. They are asking for the release of those who were unjustly arrested and detained for no reason. They are asking for the withdrawal of those who came with rifles without the right to do that, to occupy the north of Kosovo," Vucic stressed.

He said that the Serbs are also asking for the canceling of arrest lists that the regime in Pristina created only because the Serbs politically opposed their terror.

"And in order to return to the (Pristina) institutions, so that is something different from removing the barricades, they are asking for the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities, which was the first condition in the Brussels Agreement. In all that, I, as the president of Serbia, will always support them.

I will always support them, and I will not hide from the great and powerful in the world," said Vucic.

Also, he said that even when he says that, he will also always be responsible enough to call on them to maintain the peace, composure, tolerance and patience.

"Because peace is in the greatest interest of the Serbs and Serbia and our people in Kosovo and Metohija. Long live the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija, long live Serbia," concluded Vucic.
