Regarding the case that happened last Friday in the town of Cacak, when a 57-year-old woman was stung by a hornet and died as a consequence, the director of the Cacak Health Center, Aleksandar Pajovic, formed a commission to investigate the circumstances under which it all unfolded.

"The Commission for Internal Control and the Expert Council of the Health Center met and gave their reports, with the exception of some not so important omissions, that adequate therapy had been administered, but the patient was simply in a serious condition," reports RTS.

"Our emergency team was called and joined the intervention, they provided the necessary treatment and transported the patient to the hospital in Cacak, but she had already passed away either on the way or upon arrival in the hospital. We examined everything in detail and there were no professional errors, except for some minor circumstances that are irrelevant to all this," said Pajovic.
