A family from Jagodina, which was said to have disappeared on the way to Greece and has been searched for since yesterday, is well.

"The girl said that everything was fine and that they didn't have an internet connection, but the grandmother didn't hear that from her parents. The police here in Greece were also informed. When we hear from the girl's parents, we will report new information," Cipe Mile who is in contact with family members said in the Greece Info group.

He also added that the family is in Limenaria in Thassos, and that the screen on the phone they had Viber on had cracked.

"The parents also called, they are in Limenaria on Thassos, the screen on their phone on which they use Viber broke, that's why they weren't online. The girl said that everything was fine and that they didn't have the internet, but the grandmother didn't hear that from the parents," the post said.

Last night an appeal was launched on social media in numerous groups to help find Aleksandar Joksimovic and Snezana Stamenkovic from Jagodina, who left for the popular Greek island with their two daughters on Sunday and have been missing since then.

Aleksandar's sister said in one post that the family had crossed the border with North Macedonia shortly after 10:00 pm. on August 6, when they last heard from each other, and they received information that they crossed the Greek border on August 7 at 12:30 am.
