This is when Serbia will play the Basketball World Cup semifinals game

With a convincing triumph over the national team of Lithuania, the Serbian squad secured a place in the semifinals of the Basketball World Cup!

The Serbians will play against the winner of the game between Canada and Slovenia, which is scheduled for Wednesday, while the semifinals will be played on Friday. There are two time slots, one from 10:45 am, the other from 2:40 pm. As a reminder, mostly Americans had the right to choose the time of the start of the game and they would take the latter, so...

The other semifinal pair will be the winners of the Germany vs Latvia and US vs Italy, while it would be good for Serbia for Americans to advance in order for our team to get closer to qualifying for the Olympic Games.

If the US defeats Italy and Canada Slovenia, Serbia will be one of the two best European squads and in that way qualify for the Games in Paris.

If case Slovenians defeat Canada, then Serbia and Slovenia will decide themselves in the semifinals who will go directly to the Olympic Games and who will go to the qualifiers.

The losers will have another chance, in the fight for third place, if the US lives up to its role as a favorite in the semifinals.
