Vucic tells citizens of RS: We will defend people's electoral will and there is no doubt about that

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic in an address on Instagramapologized to citizens of the RS (the Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina) for what he called a horrific campaign being led against them by a section of the political public.

"Dear citizens of the RS, I am addressing you on behalf of the Serb people and all citizens of Serbia and I want to apologize for the horrific campaign that is being waged against you, our sisters and brothers, by a part of the political public in Belgrade. A part of those who cannot come to terms with god knows which consecutive defeat (in elections) and who want to come to power at any cost and even if they do that over your backs, even if they blame you for their defeats, even though you are not really to blame for anything," said the president added that even that part of the political public that he mentioned knows how many people from the Serb Republic voted, and did that in accordance with the law and the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.

"Just as their (opposition) controllers at the polling stations confirmed: peacefully, in a civilized manner and as befits serious and responsible people," he added, referring to how the voting took place.

Vucic also stressed how much love he has for the RS, and respect for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"I want to apologize to you and tell you that the majority of Serbia and Serbians love the RS, always respecting Bosnia and Herzegovina. We love the RS and we will never give up on our people and we will always be with you. We will not run away and we will not hide from those who want to get us to quarrel.

I want you not to worry. Many outsiders who would like to impose their solutions in order to make a banana state out of Serbia will not succeed in their intentions. On behalf of the citizens of Serbia and on behalf of our entire people, I want to say to you and to everyone in Serbia - we will defend the electoral will of the people and there is no doubt about that," said President Vucic.
