Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today that, when one looks at the recommendations from the ODIHR (OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights) report, it is clear that the December elections in Serbia were fair, transparent and in accordance with democratic norms.

"We have recommendations that are already at this moment, after working with ODIHR since 2019, much more favorable than those concerning many European Union members," Brnabic pointed out.

"We will continue to work with ODIHR and we will continue to implement all the board's recommendations in accordance with the practice that we introduced in the Republic of Serbia in 2019, when a government working group for cooperation with ODIHR was established. We appreciate the board. Do we agree with everything in this report? Certainly not. But we continue to work on implementing the recommendations," Brnabic said.

She added that whoever heads the future government should cooperate with ODIHR, given that Serbia has already made a commitment to remain dedicated to further work with it.

"We sent that letter and went one step further and invited the mission, the ODIHR monitoring mission, to come and observe local elections that should be held in the Republic of Serbia later this year," Brnabic said.
