Serbian National Assembly President Ana Brnabic is on a two-day visit to Geneva, where she is participating in the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which gathers parliamentarians from all over the world, and is the oldest and largest international parliamentary organization, founded in 1889.

"The World Economic Forum opened one of its 4th industrial revolution centers in Belgrade. The only other such center in Europe is in Oslo, Norway, which speaks volumes about how great of a recognition this is for Serbia," Brnabic in Geneva where she is taking part in the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

She added that Serbia and the WEF will hold a joint conference in Belgrade on artificial intelligence and biotechnology for the third time in a row this year.

"We also talked about that conference, whom we can invite from among the most influential people in the world, the topics being biotechnology and artificial intelligence. How we will continue to cooperate, but also about the geopolitical circumstances in Europe and the whole world, and how it will affect the growth of the global economy and all the challenges we are facing," said Brnabic.

She recalled the praise the Serbian economy received from the IMF and the assessment that it is resilient.

"Which is great, because we live in difficult, challenging times and the resilience of an economy brings additional security to foreign investors, but also domestic investors and in general our agriculture and other branches of industry and economy," concluded Brnabic.
