"The sound was eerie, baby was sleeping in the room": Residents describe how wind blew off roof in Mladenovac

During a storm that hit Serbia two days ago, the wind blew off a part of the roof from a residential building in Mladenovac.
Locals say a storm of that kind had not hit the town recently, and that they were left considerably distressed.
Residents on the top floor are most at risk, and one married couple in an apartment on that floor had the roof fly off right above their bedroom and living room.
"For now, it is not leaking, we are on the last floor and I expect that there will be leaks if the roof is not repaired as soon as possible. I don't know how much damage has been done exactly, but it's certainly a lot. When it happened, my baby was sleeping in the room where a part of the roof had blown off. An eerie sound was heard, and I told my husband that it sounded like our roof was falling," the woman says and adds:
"The older daughter started crying, I tried to calm her down by showing her through the window, that it was just an ordinary storm, and then I saw the broken roof below. I told my husband that the roof really did fall off. He ran out in the rain to make sure nobody was hurt."
According to her, no one was injured, but several cars in the parking lot below got significantly damaged.
The building in question has two entrances, three floors each, and about 23 people live there.
