Shortly after it was activated, the powerful Hungarian floating crane Adam Clark started transferred two parts of the green structure of the Old Sava Bridge.

Yesterday, one segment of the bridge was transported onto a barge, while today the same was done with another. The parts in question were connecting the bridge to the New Belgrade side.

What will likely follow is the dismantling of the bridge segments from the direction of Belgrade.

The arch structure has not yet been lifted from the piers.

Old Sava Bridge is dismantled from few parts

What is interesting is that the bridge consists of only a few parts. After the approaches were "cut off" four elements remained, two have been removed, and two are still above the Sava, including the arch.

Workers are busy both on the banks and on the river itself.

The crane gets moved according to the needs, while the removed parts of the bridge are placed on barges.

During this time, workers in boats are crossing from one to the other side of the river.

It is now only a matter of days before the bridge is completely dismantled.
