Petkovic speaks from Brussels: Terror and persecution of Serb political representatives must stop

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic had a meeting in Brussels with EU special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina Peter Sorensen.
During the conversation, Petkovic insisted, among other things, that the terror and persecution of political representatives of Serbs, i.e. the Serb List, must stop.
"The president of the Serb List, Mr. Elek, received an invitation from the so-called prosecutor's office of Kosovo to show up on June 10, probably because of peaceful protests and barricades. They refer to some article about some kind of terrorism, Igor Simic and many other prominent Serbs also received the same summons.
I pointed out that this is a case of direct persecution, by Albin Kurti, of political representatives of the Serb people in Kosovo, and as we have seen, Kurti has tried to shut down the Serb List in many ways so far, starting with elections that are behind us, and the many other things that are happening," Petkovic said after Tuesday's meeting with Sorensen in Brussels.
"That kind of terror has to stop, showdowns with political opponents of the kind done by Kurti don't exist anywhere in Europe. Why (is it done)? Because the Serb people have the greatest trust in the Serb List. It bothers Kurti and that is why he is dealing with representatives of the Serb List in this way," stated Petkovic.
