Serb List reacts to Albin Kurti's trip to northern Kosovska Mitrovica: There is serious threat...

The Serb List reacted today that the arrival of the outgoing prime minister of the provisional Pristina institutions, Albin Kurti, to the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, stating that this represents yet another in a series of attempts to divert the public's attention from the fact that, even after several months, Kurti failed to constitute the Assembly in Pristina.
And he failed to improve the position of his own people, the Serb List said, warning the international community that such an approach by Pristina is a serious threat to peace and stability on the ground.
"We call on all factors in the region and the world to stop supporting Kurti's tyranny and to stand up for basic human and political rights of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija," the Serb List stated.
The party added hat Kurti went to the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica together with the so-called minister of internal affairs, Xhelal Svecla, accompanied by dozens of members of special forces armed to the teeth, attempting for the umpteenth time to hide their failures behind cheap political tricks.
"As ever, when he experiences defeat in the political or institutional sense, when some affair of his associates surfaces, Kurti resorts to a proven scenario: attack Serbs, institutions of the Republic of Serbia, carry out unfounded arrests and incursions, or raise tensions in Serb communities," the party's statement said.
The Serb people have yet again demonstrated dignity and political maturity by not reacting and ignoring that provocative event.
"Those who threaten, arrest, discriminate and try to impose political will contrary to the will of the citizens, demonstrate false power over our compatriots, are not, and will not be welcome," the Serb List stressed.
