Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in Prague, where he will participate in the GLOBSEC forum, that Kosovo and Metohija will be discussed and that he will have several important meetings with foreign officials, as well as that he will discuss Kosovo and Metohija and other issues with EU's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina Peter Sorensen.

Vucic said that the main topics will be global conflicts and the search for solutions in an increasingly complicated world, but that it will be interesting to hear what Miroslav Lajcak will say about the Brussels agreement and the position of Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija.

"That panel will be interesting, with many interesting people, so it will be good to hear what Lajcak will say today about provisions from the Brussels agreement that have not been implemented and about the position of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija. And that will be heard far from Prague. So it's not just Czechs, Slovaks, Austrians..., but also Germans and everyone else who always listens to what is said at GLOBSEC," Vucic told Tanjug.

The president will speak at the panels "Strategic and Economic Importance of Southeast Europe" and "Seizing the Moment: Creating Permanent Partnerships in the Neighborhood".

In response to a journalist's comment that he participated in that meeting in Prague last year and that he mentioned, among other things, that peace and stability were the most important things, Vucic said that integration of the Western Balkans in the EU was also discussed then.

"Then as well, if you recall, I spoke about the example of Ukraine. And after six months, in Budapest, I spoke about the necessity of a ceasefire in Ukraine. Zelensky was against a ceasefire at the time. I said, okay, I'm sorry, I won't interfere in your business anymore, and now I see everyone who criticized me, and then it was the whole West, and I understand Zelensky because he's at war, but these others from the West who lectured me on how Putin told me to say that, and so on. Now suddenly they have all arrived at my position. It's not exactly that Putin told me. And it's not exactly that Putin agrees with it," said Vucic.

The president added said that if a country is sovereign, independent and free, then it encounters such things, but also continues with its freedom-loving policies.
