Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Kurti's fascist persecution policy done in front of international community

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija reacted to a series of arrests and expulsions of Serbs living in Kosovo and Metohija, who work for police departments in central Serbia, by stating that it is unprecedented for Albin Kurti to be carrying out his fascist policy of persecuting a people and ethnically cleansing Serbs from their homes in front of the eyes of the entire international community.

The Office stated that Albin Kurti continued with the policy of arbitrary arrest and expulsion of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, while the targets of his vindictive and anti-Serb policy are Serbs who live in Kosovo and Metohija and work for police in central Serbia.

Milan Zlatanovic (44) from Veliki Ropotov, a father of three, who has been working for the police in Nis for almost 20 years and lives with his family in Kosovo and Metohija, was detained on Sunday morning by the Kurti police at the Konculj administrative crossing and was transferred to the so-called deportation center in Pristina. A while later, he was "deported" to central Serbia.

Zlatanovic is the new victim of retaliation and politically motivated arrests done by Pristina, which have no legal basis. The Office for Kosovo and Metohija provided him with legal aid, as well as the three Serbs who were expelled from Kosovo and Metohija the day before, and is fighting for their rights through diplomatic channels, which was confirmed in a post on X by Petar Petkovic, director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

The Office said that additionally, "by order of the arsonist Kurti, five Serb policemen living in the Kosovsko Pomoravlje are not allowed to enter the territory of Kosovo and Metohija and return to their homes and families after work."

It is unheard of that Kurti is carrying out his fascist policy of persecuting a people and ethnic cleansing of Serbs from their homes in front of the entire international community, and that there is no reaction from those who are supposed to guarantee peaceful life to Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.

The office for Kosovo and Metohija has been in direct contact with representatives of the European Union regarding the latest escalating moves by the regime in Pristina and has informed international representatives about all these events.
