The Serbian Government is intensively monitoring the situation in Israel and Iran and is taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety of its citizens who are currently in the territory of these countries, according to a statement issued on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Djuro Macut announced that a part of the Serbian citizens who were staying in Israel has already been successfully evacuated. He pointed out that he is in constant communication with Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric, and that the Government's activities are taking place in accordance with the dynamics on the ground.

"Our priority is the safety of every citizen of Serbia. The government is doing everything to evacuate the rest of our citizens who are still in the affected region," said the prime minister.

The evacuation process is still ongoing, and the authorities are in constant coordination with diplomatic and consular missions and international partners in order to realize a safe and efficient repatriation of all Serbian citizens.
