Ana Brnabic: "Ultimate attack on Serbia planned for Vidovdan"

President of the Assembly Ana Brnabic said today that "blockaders" are planning the ultimate attack on Serbia for Vidovdan and that they are threatening everyone, the entire county with blockades of roads, infrastructure, investments and institutions.

In a post on X, Brnabic told citizens not to be afraid and not to worry, and pointed out that Serbia, led by President Aleksandar Vucic, will never hand over the fatherland to those who want Serbian citizens to live in fear.

Brnabic stated that a 36-page document, "drawn from idiocy, insolence and arrogance," shows the blockaders announcing June 28 as "Decision Day," "Truth Day" and, "Moment of Reversal".

"They want life to stop in Serbia, and they literally say, 'Not only citizens will be in fear', but also promise that foreign investors will also feel fear, (as well as) 'the governments and embassies that cooperate with this regime or are considering investments'," Brnabic stated on X, and asked all those who support blockades what this should be called,  and if it is terrorism.

She added that they boast that citizens will live in fear of them, that they will drive away all investors from Serbia, leaving hundreds of thousands of people without work, hundreds of thousands of families without income and safety.

"They predict in that document that Serbia will lose 292 million euros in the first five days of their blockade, and that if that continues, Serbia's estimated losess will reach over 800 million euros! That is 800 million euros meant for pensions, salaries, healthcare, schools, support for families with children! That is what they want to take away from this nation," stressed Brnabic.

The Assembly president also stated that those who organize blockades brag about driving out embassies and diplomatic missions from Serbia, that is, causing a complete isolation of the country, and that they feed on everyone being afraid of them.

"Once again - what is this called? Terrorism? Fascism? Or are all of us who call the blockaders' Nazi ideology and terror by its real name still exaggerating? You started shooting at us? We are not afraid of you. Stop the violence and terror," wrote Brnabic.

Those students taking part in blockades ("blockaders") have announced a protest in Belgrade for June 28, while some media outlets reported that their plan is to block key roads in the capital, as well as access to foreign companies.
