Vlade Divac injured in traffic accident: Urgently transferred to hospital in Montenegro

Legendary Serbian basketball player Vlade Divac was injured in a traffic accident in Montenegro, where he fell off a motorcycle. Due to the injuries he sustained, he was unable to stand up and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The accident occurred near Luštica, and there is still no precise information about the extent of his injuries.

Divac has been spending a lot of time in Montenegro on the coast in recent years. Last year, he was joined in Boka Kotorska by his former teammate and one of the greatest basketball players of all time – Magic Johnson – who is currently vacationing on the Croatian coast.

Divac is one of the best Serbian basketball players in history, with a career that spanned 22 years. He started with Sloga from Kraljevo, then played for Partizan before moving to the NBA, where he played for the LA Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, and later returned to play for Red Star during the lockout. He then went back to the NBA to play for the Sacramento Kings and ended his career with the Lakers in 2005.

With the national team, he won three European gold medals, two World Championship golds, and two Olympic silver medals. He also won all the gold medals in the youth categories.
