Vucic: According to new survey, SNS would win both in Belgrade and in Novi Sad

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today that an omnibus survey he received last night showed that the "blockaders" have no chance among the people and that according to this poll, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) would win elections in Belgrade as well as in Novi Sad.

"Late last night I received an omnibus survey and you blockaders have no chance among the people and that's why there is more and more anger, madness and more and more uncontrolled actions, as well as crazy ideas that people will witness in the coming days, and will laugh at the level of madness, how far that has gone," Vucic told reporters after a session of the extended collegium of the Serbian Army General Staff.

The president pointed out that he cannot know whether victory in Novi Sad and Belgrade would be achieved in a year and a half.

"We would win in Belgrade and in Novi Sad (now), but whether it would happen in a year and a half is another matter, because then it will not be the same as today. There will be more difficult questioning of themselves by those in power, who will have a greater responsibility, you will be in power longer, so you have to provide answers in those year and a half, and I always look ahead," said Vucic.

The president added that the public will soon see evidence of election rigging in Kosjeric.

"Soon you will see how they were stealing the (local) election in Kosjeric, evidentiary materials and everything else. We will wait for the elections to end on July 1, and from July 2 you will see how and at which polling stations they got a large number of votes and what the bikers were for, which cars they surrounded and what happened in those cars. You will hear the testimonies from the people who participated in the theft and how it was all organized," stressed Vucic.

He repeated that there will be no change in the election results in Kosjeric, even though opposition representatives thought that something would happen because they have a judge who favors the "blockaders".
