Vucevic: Raging "blockaders" threw stones at police on Saturday, and at SNS premises last night

Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Milos Vucevic has stated that those participating in protests and blockades ("blockaders") cannot accept the fact that their color revolution did not succeed, that Saturday night's protest and intent to cause bloodshed and chaos on the streets of Belgrade failed, so last night they continued their violent roadblocks in Belgrade, Novi Sad and some other cities in Serbia.

"The raging and powerless blockaders threw stones at the police last night (Saturday), and tonight (Sunday) they are throwing stones at the premises of the Serbian Progressive Party. Is this how they imagine doing politics, with a rock in hand? They are taking it out on the premises of our party, they are harassing citizens, children and families they block in traffic... We will not allow citizens to be the hostage if the sick political ambitions of blockaders and political profiteers and their anti-Serb media, who are constantly spreading lies and calling for a fratricidal war," said Vucevic posted on Instagram.

The SNS leader stressed that this is not a question of any kind of struggle by the blockaders for rights and justice, for democracy.

"These are all the false and empty stories from those who are increasingly violently breaking the Constitution and laws, demanding that those who were preparing a coup d'état be pardoned. They want to destroy the state and not be responsible for it? That won't happen! Courts will not be deciding in Serbia as the street dictates. Serbia will not be ruled by those who give the 'green light' to assault on the state," Vucevic wrote, and concluded:

"We must not allow the blockader extremists to paralyze the country and cause violence on a wider scale, because that is clearly their only goal. We demand from the competent authorities to react as soon as possible and to make sure the citizens can live normal lives. Stop the violence! Stop the bullies! Serbia will win!"
