Serbian Ambassador to US Sutanovac presents his credentials to US President Trump

Serbian Ambassador to US Dragan Sutanovac has presented his credentials to US President Donald Trump.
Afterwards, Sutanovac stated that they discussed relations between Serbia and the US in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, and that the message of the conversation was, "Let's make Serbian-American strategic partnership great again."
Sutanovac, who thus officially assumed his duties of Serbia's ambassador in Washington, posted that on his Instagram account and added that he reminded Trump of the fact no US president had visited Serbia since 1980.
"At the White House, I presented my credentials to President Donald Trump, officially assuming the duties of the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States of America. In a friendly and constructive atmosphere, we discussed relations between Serbia and the United States.
I reminded President Trump that no American president has visited Serbia since 1980 - and invited him to be the one to change that. The message of our conversation was clear: Let's make Serbian-American strategic partnership great again!," wrote Sutanovac.
