EXCLUSIVE! Listen to basketball legend Vlade Divac chat with acquaintance about his recent accident

A Telegraf crew has exclusively recorded the famed former basketball player Vlade Divac for the first time since a serious accident he had a month ago.

Telegraf's reporters "caught" Divac at a sports facility, a part of a luxurious complex on the Montenegrin coast where he owns an apartment and where he vacations.

Divac was walking using crutches, and while he was out, smiling, an acquaintance addressed him, saying:

"I know that you are an athlete and that your mindset is such you can easily overcome anything" - to which Vlade Divac replied:

"I'm better, quite better. It will be fine."

We "caught" him in Lustica

After a difficult surgery that involved hip replacement, Divac was recovering at the Simo Milosevic Institute in Igalo.

Afterward he was discharged, he returned to his apartment in Lustica where he is spneding time with his family, and Telegraf journalists filmed him exclusively.

Vlade walks with the help of crutches, but is very mobile and spends time outdoors, at the basketball courts that he owns.

He had serious accident

Vlade Divac is successfully recovering after falling from his motorcycle a month ago near Lustica.

After leaving the hospital, Divac announced:

"I am immensely grateful to Dr. Lisov and all the employees at the Vaso Cukovic Special Hospital in Risan. Thank you for your efforts to make my recovery as smooths as possible and for your support during my stay with you."
