Two passengers and an assistant driver were injured last night when unknown persons threw stones at a bus transporting Serbian tourists who had been vacationing in Halkidiki, Greece.

There were 38 Serbian tourists on the bus, two of whom received minor injuries, but they refused to be taken to the hospital.

The attack on the bus happened on the Egnatia highway.

It was reported that four perpetrators were throwing stones, and they are believed to have been minors. The police detained two after the attack, but since no stones were found with them, they were released.

The footage published by the Greek media shows that one of the stones hit the front windshield and left a huge hole there, while shards of glass were scattered everywhere.

A side window on the vehicle was also broken, which completely shattered. The stone, about the size of a fist, landed in the aisle between the seats.

Glass was falling on the passengers.

The assistant driver was taken to the hospital, and was discharged after receiving medical treatment.

Another bus arrived to pick up these Serbian tourists in Greece so they could continue their trip home.
