Child loses hand in horror explosion on beach near Budva, Belgrader arrested!

A child, who was seriously injured yesterday on a beach near Budva in Montenegro when a diving cylinder exploded, has lost his hand!

The Montenegrin police arrested M.B. (45), a Belgrader, who is suspected of serious crimes against general security in conjunction with the criminal offense of illegal business, banking, stock exchange and insurance activities.

"Citizen of the Republic of Serbia M.B. (45) was detained for, as it is suspected, committing the criminal acts he is charged with in such a way that through a generally dangerous act and a generally dangerous means he caused danger to the life or body of people on a beach in the town of Krimovica, while he was engaged in commercial or other activities without registration or approval, and as a result of this a serious bodily injury occurred to a minor," stated the police.

They added the accident happened near the beach in Krimovica when a diving cylinder exploded.

"During the detonation, fragments of the cylinder hit the person (the child) a foreign citizen, in the area of the hand, resulting in the hand getting severed. This person was transported to receive medical assistance, while two others received medical assistance due to minor injuries caused by the detonation," according to the police.

They point out that the prosecutor from the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed about the incident, and went to the scene where an investigation was carried out in the presence of experts.

After a series of activities, and on the order of the prosecutor, M.B. was arrested.
