Members of the Serbian police (MUP) this morning left the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad.

According to a video that appeared on social networks and in the media, the officers left the faculty, where they had previously deployed at the invitation of dean Milivoj Alanovic.

As this educational institution announced yesterday, the implementation of the "September 2" term exam should begin today.

A statement said that the exams are organized in line with the plan to compensate for previous missed terms and according to the published schedule, and that in this term period, 1,368 students registered for 3,992 exams.

On the same day, Monday, September 8, the Police Intervention Unit is planned to leave the faculty building in Novi Sad in the early morning hours, the statement issued earlier said.

On Friday, Alanovic told TV K1 that the beginning of the term exam for students is planned for today and said he expected that the building would be open for students and for employees.

The Serbian police were sent to the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad at the request of Dean Alanovic, who previously entered the building with a group of associates.

The unrest after the dean's arrival lasted almost two weeks, and on several occasions the police who were in front of the faculty building got attacked. The major of these incidents happened on Friday evening.
