President Aleksandar Vucic on assassination of Charlie Kirk: "It's not a bullet that killed him, but..."

President Aleksandar Vucic today commented on the murder of Charlie Kirk, an ally of US President Donald Trump.
The Serbian president did this during a reception for medical workers who have returned to Serbia, and while answering questions from journalists.
Vucic said that the criminal murder of Charlie Kirk will have a huge impact on everyone.
"You saw how those who are destroying Serbia (protesters) are not talking about a criminal killing, but that a man died from a bullet. It was not a bullet that killed him, but a criminal murder! He was not killed because he stole something, but because of his ideas. And he was killed in a country that we thought was a beacon of democracy, before that there was an assassination attempt on President Trump, imagine if all that happened here with someone who thinks differently," President Aleksandar Vucic said, and added:
"The world will have to turn against those who refer to themselves as anarcho-citizens... But who in the end prove to be murderers. True criminals who kill people for thinking differently. I expect a strong reaction from American society, but also from European countries."
Charlie Kirk, who was a close associate of US President Donald Trump, was shot and killed while speaking to students at an event in the state of Utah.
The suspect has not yet been found, nor has a motive been established.
