Terrible scenes from crash site near Lazarevac: Truck drives off road, ends up in family yard; One dead

A truck and a pickup truck collided today in the settlement of Sopic, near Lazarevac, killing one person instantly. The images from the scene are horrific.

The pickup ended up in the bushes on the right side of the road, its front part completely crushed, while parts of the vehicle are scattered around.

On the other side of the road is the truck, flipped over on its side. It stopped in a family's yard, having broken through a wooden fence.

The police, ambulance, and firemen arrived at the scene, while a large number of locals also gathered.

Telegraf.rs has learned that Dragan R., the driver of the pickup truck, died in this crash.

It is not yet known how the accident happened, while traffic on that road was completely stopped in its aftermath.
