Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar stated that last night's bandit attack by the so-called Kosovo police, by order of Albin Kurti. on the KBC (Clinical Hospital Center) in Kosovska Mitrovica and the Health Center in that city, was an attempt to cause a humanitarian disaster.

Loncar also pointed out that he informed EU Commissioner for Health Oliver Varhelyi, and Director of the World Health Organization for Europe Hans Kluge about Kurti's violent actions and efforts to seize and destabilize the Serbian healthcare system in Kosovo, by using rifles.

Loncar pointed out that the incursion of the so-called of the Kosovo Police in KBC in Kosovska Mitrovica represents the red line that Pristina wants to cross.

He stated that rifles have no place in Serbian healthcare institutions, where patients of all nationalities are treated, without any ethnic discrimination.

"Let me be very clear. The health system in Kosovo and Metohija functions within the system of the Republic of Serbia and is in accordance with the signed and valid agreements in Brussels from 2013 and 2015, whose guarantor is the European Union, so there is not a single basis for Kurti's dirty intentions to hijack our health institutions. I want to tell our doctors, medical and non-medical staff that we will not allow anyone to threaten their jobs and livelihoods," said Loncar.

He pointed out that the Serbian health institutions in Kosovo and Metohija function flawlessly given the difficult conditions on the ground and provide medical services to everyone, Serbs and ethnic Albanians alike.

Members of the so-called Kosovo police last night raided the security premises of the KBC Kosovska Mitrovica and the Kosovska Mitrovica Health Center.
