Dodik comments on military parade in Belgrade: Serb Republic supports strong, stable and successful Serbia

The Serb Republic (RS, Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina) supports a strong, stable and successful Serbia, because only such a Serbia can guarantee that the Serb people, no matter where they live, will never again fall prey to anyone's conquests or revisionist ambitions, SNSD President Milorad Dodik said on Monday.

He added that the "Strength of Unity" military parade, which he attended the day before in Belgrade, was impressive.

"And I'm proud that we showed the strength of Serb unity and the power of our Army in front of the whole world," Dodik said in a post on Instagram.

Speaking for RTRS, Dodik said that 15 years ago, the Serbian Army was in ruins, while the international factor wanted that army to disappear.

"The attempts from Sarajevo are ridiculous, I would advise them to look at those photos from Belgrade. The purpose of the parade was to show the capability of the Serbian Army, which has always fought defensive wars, and the society is in an economic position to be able to provide that level of equipment. What is also important is that many people came to watch, and Serbs love their Army," pointed out Dodik.

He stressed that according to all of Serbia's strategic plans, the Army will defend the Serb people, even beyond its borders.

Dodik also spoke about the so-called malign influences, and said that the only such influence that is trying to impose itself comes from Sarajevo, that is, from Muslim-Bosniak nationalism.

He pointed out that they want to impose taxes, seize property, and asked if that was not malign.

"What is malign about the Russians, who say they want to respect international law?," wondered Dodik.

He pointed out that Serbs and Russians have always been on the same side of history.

Dodik also said that the RS has more and more friends and announced that he will on Monday travel to Hungary, with which the RS has excellent cooperation.

Dodik also announced that he will soon go to Russia again as well, where he will participate in a forum, with the main speaker being Russian President Vladimir Putin and where he will again have the opportunity to meet with important people.
