Man from Obrenovac arrested after plunging knife in the neck of the mother of his child; PHOTO was published

Police in Obrenovac have arrested Vuk M. (39) for attempted murder of his ex-wife (28), Telegraf.rs has learned.

He plunged a knife into K.P.'s neck early this morning. The victim and the attacker share a child.

The woman was taken to the Emergency Center in Belgrade and her life is not in danger.

The suspect was brought to the premises of the police in Obrenovac, where he will be detained for up to 48 hours. He was caught while hiding in a nearby apartment.

According to unofficial information early this morning he broke into the house where his ex-partner lives. When she refused him to get back with him, he attacked her with a knife.

The seriously injured woman managed to escape to a neighbor's house.

Inspectors found the knife and Vuk M.'s watch in the yard.
