Man arrested for fake bomb report on Mt. Kopaonik: He is charged with these crimes

In a swift operation, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) in Kraljevo, Raska and Vranje identified and arrested Z.K. (61) from Bujanovac, on suspicion that he last night falsely reported that a bomb was planted in a hotel on Mt. Kopaonik.

He is suspected of committing the crime of causing panic and disorder and endangering security, the Police in Kraljevo announced.

It is suspected that Z.K. last night called the reception of the hotel on Kopaonik, where a conference of the High Council of the Prosecution was being held, and falsely reported that an explosive device had been planted on the premises, thereby creating upset among the guests and employees, and causing the hotel to be evacuated.

The suspect is now detained by the police for up to 48 hours and will be brought to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Raska along with a criminal complaint.
