Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija set off on foot for Novi Sad, to support President Vucic

A group of 60 Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija departed this morning for Novi Sad on foot in order to support President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, and take part in a great people's gathering against blockades and attempts to halt Serbia!

They set off on a 315-kilometer journey early this morning from Rudnica, and the group includes Serbs from central Kosovo and Metohija - Gracanica, Kosovo Polje, Badovac, Laplje Selo, Dobrotin, Gusterica, as well as from Kosovsko Pomoravlje - Gornje Kusce, Straza, Ranilug, Partes, and from the north of Kosovo and Metohija, i.e. Leposavic, Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok.

Carrying Serbian flags, with faith and determination to persevere in this heroic feat and cover the greatest number of kilometers thus far, they say that their motive is to stand with their country and show by example that they do not want Serbia to stop because only a strong and advanced Serbia is ready to save its people in the southern province.

The participants in the march say that they heard the invitation made by the president to a large national gathering of Serbs who are against the blockades, to be held in Novi Sad, and that this motivated them to attend.

"Today, 60 of us left Kosovo and Metohija to support our president Aleksandar Vucic and show full support to our country. We know best how to love and respect Serbia and to show everyone that we will persevere in this march, God willing, and to show the blockaders that we are on the side of the right and strong Serbia," said Danilo Gudzic from Dobrotin.

This is the fourth time that Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija are traveling on foot to attend a rally in support of their country and President Vucic - they did the same in 2019, 2023, as well as in April 2025.

Among them are experienced "walkers" who have already convered hundreds of kilometers, but also many new ones ready to persevere on this challenging path, along with their brothers from Kosovo and Metohija.
