Horror in Valjevo: Mother and child narrowly avoid DEATH while standing at pedestrian crossing

A serious traffic accident happened in Valjevo, western Serbia, last evening at one of the city's intersections, and as can be seen in a video published on Instagram, a major tragedy was narrowly avoided.

The video clearly shows a woman with a small child approaching the intersection and the crosswalk and waiting for the light to turn green.

At the same time, two cars are approaching the intersection from opposite directions, and the one coming from the left is speeding and running a red light, to then directly hit the other.

Due to the force of the crash, the vehicle that ran the red light bounces off and hits a traffic light pole right next to the woman holding the child. Parts of the cars fly in all directions, while the woman, who seems to have noticed there might be a collision, hugs the child and moves away.

Thanks to her reaction, as well as the fortunate location of the pole, an even greater tragedy was avoided.

The woman and the child miraculously did not suffer any physical injuries, while the Instagram post's comments thread is filled with shocked reactions.

For now, there is no official information about the accident itself, nor about the condition of those who traveled in the two cars.
