Vucic speaks with Aliyev: Serbia's energy cooperation and strategic partnership with Azerbaijan

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic spoke by phone today with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev about current global issues, and especially about cooperation in the field of energy and improvement of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

"I had a good and meaningful telephone conversation with President Aliyev, during which, first of all, I congratulated him on his birthday and thanked him for his personal dedication to the friendship with our country," Vucic stated on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav".

He added that they discussed current global and issues of common interest, with special emphasis on energy cooperation, stability and further improvement of the strategic partnership between Serbia and Azerbaijan.

"I reiterated that Serbia extremely values its friendly relations with Azerbaijan, which are based on mutual respect, trust and concrete results, and I invited President Aliyev to visit Serbia," added Vucic.
