Minister Loncar: Rumors about shortage of saline solution and jeopardized patients is absolute lie

Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar said that everything said by Serbian Assembly Deputy Jelena Spiric of the Party of Freedom and Justice about patients being endangered due to a shortage of saline solution is an absolute lie.

Loncar reacted to Spiric's allegations that the healthcare system in Serbia "cannot even provide enough saline solution" by saying it was a malicious and vile lie and pointed out it is an easily verifiable fact that absolutely not a single patient in any hospital has been at risk at any time, and that there were no problems in the supply of saline solution to any institution in the Republic of Serbia.

"This is a fact known to everyone who has been in the hospital for treatment in the previous period," Loncar said and added that this is not important to Deputy Spiric and her mentors and that they are not afraid of uttering lies in order to create panic and chaos.

"They are obviously so well-informed that they know better than the patients who are in the hospitals, whether or not there is saline solution in healthcare facilities. They are obviously so vile and evil that they do not hesitate to lie and deceive the citizens, in order to create panic and chaos. They have already proven, countless times, that their only policy is the destruction of Serbia, causing disorder and chaos, because their only motto is 'the it is worse for Serbia, the better for us'," said Loncar.

Responding to Spiric's allegations that the healthcare system "has been brought to the terminal phase of disintegration" Loncar pointed out that only their touch with reality is in the terminal phase of disintegration because, otherwise, they would be able to see that the citizens of Serbia do not trust them and do not want them.

"All the lies are in vain, because the citizens of Serbia remember how they (today's opposition) managed the country and the healthcare system! The people of this country have not forgotten the ruined the healthcare institutions where citizens were treated at that time, without enough medicines and medical devices. Citizens of Serbia remember their lack of responsibility, thievery and incompetence. May it never happen again, that's what Serbia is telling them!," said Loncar.

Jelena Spiric stated earlier today that the healthcare system has reached the terminal stage of collapse since it allegedly cannot even provide sufficient amounts of saline solution, claiming that this is putting patients at risk.
