President Aleksandar Vucic announced today that Serbia will present thousands of armed robots at the next military parade, since their production will start this year, and that he will seek support for this from China and President Xi Jinping.

"I was struck by one detail at the presentation (of the robots made by the AGIBOT company) - as soon as they said that they also have bigger ones that can carry 100 kilograms each, since these can carry 10, 20, 30 kilograms, which means they can carry cameras, they can do what they already do in China: border control, you have them on wheels on the road, you have them without wheels so they can jump over, do all kinds of things, and you can also arm them. So, during our next military parade, we will have thousands of robots, armed, so that we can provide additional safety for our country," Vucic said.

He made the comments at the Chinese Cultural Center in Belgrade, where he attended an AGIBOT Innovation presentation.

"But I have to ask President Xi for all that when I see him, I hope that President Xi, as a sincere friend of Serbia, will help us in this matter. People, if you saw the presentation that I saw, you would all be grinning like a Cheshire cat. And we will show it to them when we solve our problems in ten, 15 days, let's try and do it for Sretenje (Serbian Statehood Day)- you won't believe it. If we manage to solve our problems, that is what we will do in Serbia," Vucic said.
