Novak Djokovic to miss tournament in Doha, this is the reason

Tennis GOAT Novak Djokovic will not compete in this year's tournament in Doha, organizers announced via their social media accounts!

Novak was supposed to arrive in Qatar on February 16, when the tournament officially starts, but he canceled his participation due to strong fatigue.

"Qatar will miss you. Wishing you a speedy recovery," reads a post published by organizers on Instagram.

Djokovic is currently in Italy for the Winter Olympics, and recently, he played and lost the Australian Open final.

It was in Melbourne that he had two very demanding matches, in the semifinal against Jannik Sinner (Novak won 3-2) and in the final against Carlos Alcaraz (lost 1-3).

Djokovic was supposed to play against these two tennis players in Doha next week. Admittedly, Djokovic at no point officially confirmed he would play in Qatar, although this was expected.
