In a coordinated operation to suppress the gray economy, criminal charges will be filed against four people on suspicion that they have been committing criminal acts over a prolongued period of time, including illegal trade, unauthorized use of a business name and other special markings of goods or service, and illegal storage of goods.

The operation was carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the UKP, the Crime Suppression Department, the Department for Suppression of Economic Crime and police officers from the Department for Suppression of Economic Crime in the city of Nis, as well as Pirot, Pancevo, and Vranje.

The police acted by orders of the main public prosecutor's offices in these cities.

Criminal charges will be filed against D.DJ. (22) from Nis, D.N. (48) from Pirot, V.N. (38) from Pancevo, as well as I.M. (23) from Presevo.

During the search of their apartments, other premises and the cars used by the suspects, police officers found a large quantity of counterfeit perfumes, clothes, labels, as well as medical devices and drugs used for cosmetic surgery, intended for sale on the black market, of a total value of around 6 million dinars.
