Aleksandar Vucic and Oljas Bektenov at defense exhibition in Astana, discuss improving military cooperation

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today visited an exhibition at the Beskaru factory accompanied by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Oljas Bektenov, with whom he discussed the possibilities of improving cooperation in the field of military industry, transfer of knowledge and technologies.

"I discussed the possibilities of improving cooperation in the field of military industry, transfer of knowledge and technologies with Oljas Bektenov, and we also discussed potential joint projects that would contribute to the modernization and strengthening of Serbia's defense capacities," Vucic stated in a post on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav".

He added that his visit to the military exhibition contributed to learniing more about the achievements of Kazakhstan's defense industry and modern technological solutions in the field of defense and security.

"My attention was especially drawn to projects that show how innovation, digitization and the development of domestic capacities can contribute to strengthening the sovereignty and stability of a country," the Serbian president stated.
