Telegraf.rs said learned that the police acted quickly and apprehended a suspect in a shooting that occurred today at 11:30 in New Belgrade, when well-known restaurateur G.S. was wounded.

As we have learned exclusively, M.D., a 24-year-old, ha s been arrested on suspiction of being the direct perpetrator of this brutal attack.

The police located him during Operation Vihor (Whirlwind), and now the details about the logistics behind what appears to have been an organized murder are surfacing.

Hitman hired for 100,000 euros?

As our portal has learned from a source close to the investigation, it is suspected that this was a professionally organized murder that failed by sheer chance.

Allegedly, the 24-year-old M.D. was paid 100,000 euros to carry it out. The fact that just a few days ago the suspect rented an apartment near the restaurant, from where he apparently observed the habits and movements of his target, also shows that the attack was planned in detail.

Cameras recorded everything, key evidence found

Although M.D. tried to hide his tracks, he made mistakes that quickly led the police to him!

Security cameras inside the restaurant clearly captured his face as he opened fire.

During a quick search of the area police operatives found the gun that was used to fire from, as well as a cap that the suspect was wearing during the attack in a bid to hide his face.

Four shots in front of shocked guests

An armed assailant ran into a packed restaurant and opened fire in the direction of the owner in front of shocked guests and employees. G.S. was hit by four bullets - three in the legs, and one in ​​the upper arm.

There was panic among those present, as the guests hid under the tables. The wounded businessman was urgently transported to the Emergency Center with serious injuries, having lost a lot of blood.

Investigation continues: Who gave the order?

Given that the same restaurant was already the target of an attack three and a half months ago when an explosive device was thrown at it, the investigation is now aimed at finding the person who ordered M.D. to kill the victim and paid him a huge sum of money.
