Jovanovic: Serbia has preserved macroeconomic stability despite global circumstances
Despite complex global circumstances, Serbia has managed to preserve macroeconomic stability, continue economic growth and maintain investor confidence, State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nevena Jovanovic said today at the opening of the Bloomberg Serbia Policy Outlook 2026 conference in Belgrade.
Jovanovic pointed out the importance of maintaining the investment credit rating, export growth and further development of the IT sector, according to the announcement.
She also emphasized the importance of continuing large infrastructure and innovation projects, as well as preparations for the specialized international exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, assessing that it represents an important development and investment project for our country.
The conference brought together representatives of the financial, business and technological sectors, as well as representatives of the diplomatic community and the media.
