Vucic: Historical alliance between Serbia and US is foundation for even better relations

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic last night attended a reception organized by the United States Embassy in Serbia on the occasion of the US Independence Day, and congratulated the American people and President Donald Trump on that occasion, wishing them peace, success and prosperity.

"I believe that our historic alliance can be a good foundation for building even better relations in the future," President Vucic wrote in a post published on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav".

The pressident stressed that Serbia remains committed to peace, dialogue and cooperation with partners around the world.

"Serbia remains convinced that open dialogue and mutual respect bring the best results for our citizens," stated Vucic.
